    Daiken mineral fiber acoustical ceiling materials are not only non-combustible, but also less likely to emit toxic gas or smoke, or to melt, break, or become deformed under normal fire conditions, protecting ceiling ares from fire.
  • EASY INSTALATION AND MAINTANANCE
    Most Daiken mineral fiber acoustical ceiling materials can be installed by the metal suspension system. Some Dai-Lotone tiles installed by the economical adhesive and nails system are also available.  Easy maintenance helps extend ceiling life.
  • EFFECTIVE THERMAL INSULATION
    Daiken mineral fiber acoustical ceiling materials offer thermal insulation more than six times that of gypsum board. Due to this superior thermal insulation characteristic, room comfort is maintained at all the times, greatly saveing in cooling an heating expenses.
  • ASBESTOS-FREE
    Daiken mineral fiber acoustical board and tile and Daiken Lux Securate are asbestos-free products.   Use of asbestos, that can have adverse effect on the human body and the environment is eliminated.

Slag is converted into mineral fibers, then the fibers are felted into Daiken mineral fiber acoustical tile. Photo shows a piece of slag and mineral fibers.
